Choosing childcare options that fit my family's busy schedule is important to me and me. We are both away from home for almost 12 hours a day between commuting and working hours. We are finding care for our son that gives us the flexibility we need as a dual working parent home is our top priority.
Choosing Close to Home Child Care: Factors That Go into Our Decision
We quickly narrowed down our search for a childcare center near you. Because my husband works in the area, I also traveled in heavy traffic in Boston for a long time. And we don't want our children to be in the car for long periods. (which worked for me (Since I found that travel time is "my time" of my day), the opening hours of the center we chose were also a deciding factor. Having an extended day option is a must for us. In addition, later pickup times are available, so I have room for times when the traffic is worse than usual.
The daycares near me that accept newborns center we chose to work with was a busy life. And it gives us peace of mind that our children are well cared for, loving, and in a learning environment with our preschool course options. However, when we make our final choice, we don't know how this will translate to our feelings of being supported as new parents. An open communication approach between his teacher and the center staff. Parenting Resources and family activities (really, I could go on). All this gave and still gives. The support system we didn't expect. Being a working parent and finding time to do "everything" can be difficult, but for us, the best daycare centers have a lot of these "everything." That saves a lot of time and convenience in my book.
I found that the concept of comfort varies from person to person. Depending on family structure, working style, and living conditions, I encourage you to sit back and think about the best childcare options for your schedule. Remember to keep the following in mind:
